Special Service: Business Evaluation and Appraisal.

Restaurant Realty Associates performs business evaluations and appraisals for many restaurant clients, both buyers and sellers. Over the past 20 years we have developed an appraisal system for the restaurant industry that usually hits the mark. PUTTING A PRICE TAG ON A RESTAURANT IS REALLY AN ART, NOT A SCIENCE. No formula will work in every situation and numerous criteria need to be evaluated for a timely sale. Nationally only 15 to 25 percent of all small businesses sell and many that do sell sit on the market for months because they are priced too high. Others are snapped up immediately because they are priced too low. Either way, the seller loses. We will establish to right selling price for fair market value.

Many factors are used to develop an accurate selling price for a restaurant such as: return on investment, sales trends, profit trends, tangible assets, pricing, location, longevity, reputation, property or lease characteristics, area demographics, quality and appearance, competition and other important factors.

Restaurant Realty Associates works with numerous certified appraisers and we often select a property appraiser who is located in the client area to develop an evaluation for both the business and property. Restaurant Realty develops the business value and the selected certified appraiser develops the property and building appraisal.

A BUSINESS APPRAISAL –  Restaurant Realty Associates will provide a restaurant owner with a business evaluation which considers the value of the business, lease, furniture, fixtures equipment, liquor license, goodwill and other items within 5 business days of a completed questionnaire and discussion with one of restaurant specialists. The valuation of the building and property are much more of a science and usually require more time to develop an accurate and professional certified value of the assets.

To fully understand your needs please begin the process by completing our appraisal form.
